Scott Milchak has taken on the challenge of committee chairman and is recognized for his efforts

ARM Group Enterprises (ARME) is proud to announce that Scott Milchak has been recognized for accepting the challenge of assuming the role of ARME Safety Committee Chairman in January. Since he has taken on that role, Scott has consistently demonstrated professionalism, integrity, resourcefulness, a positive attitude, and an ownership mentality. Scott has also taken the lead in transitioning our Job Safety Assessment (JSA) process from paper to an App-based platform through the provider selected by ARME.

Scott does an excellent job of running the ARME Safety Committee monthly meetings, he develops the agenda, leads the discussions, stays on track, provides meeting minutes, and solicits feedback from all offices and ARME companies.

Congrats to Scott Milchak for a tremendously successful start as ARME's Safety Committee Chairman and thank you!

ARM EnerTech’s Anthony Palumbo participated in the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society “Spring Swing 4 a Cure” golf fundraiser at the Rich Valley Golf Course in Mechanicsburg, PA. EnerTech was proud to sponsor a hole for the LLS golf charity tournament where money was raised not only for blood cancers, but for ALL cancers. Anthony’s wife, Amanda Lingle Palumbo, is part of the “Visionaries of the Year” team that is responsible for setting up the several fundraising events taking place this year.

On May 9th 2023, Joe Olish and Mark Baker were pleased to represented ARM CAMCO and ARM Enertech at the 2023 Electric Expo at Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, sponsored by the Electric League of Western PA. Kyle Wamboldt, Technical Sales Engineer, joins the Mechanicsburg office

Please welcome Kyle Wamboldt to AETA! He will be joining us as a Technical Sales Engineer based out of the Mechanicsburg office. He will be responsible for developing relationships with distributers and integrating with current partners, traveling throughout his assigned territory to meet with clients, and supporting client projects. Previously, Kyle was with Rockwell Automation as a Technology Consultant where he was responsible for increasing sales in the software business. When Kyle is not working, he enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and playing board games with friends.

Sam Morello, IAB member, is invited to judge University of Pittsburgh - Johnstown Students Senior Projects

The Industry Advisory Board (IAB) was invited to judge and review Senior Projects for the Electrical and Computer Engineering program at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown (UPJ). Sam Morello, P.E., Principal Engineer of ARM CAMCO and ARM EnerTech and IAB member, proudly supports the creative process and original senior projects as one of many ways for upcoming graduates to prepare to function as professionals in their chosen fields.

This year’s top project was the LasIR Harp, a digital system using IR sensors to emulate the music of a harp. It provides people with physical limitations a way to make music as it doesn’t require dexterity in the hands, but only the ability to interrupt the path of a laser.

Not only have ARM CAMCO and ARM EnerTech hired numerous UPJ alumni over the years to add to their business families, Sam’s daughter Samantha is also an IAB member and UPJ alumni, who is employed by Mitsubishi Electric Power Products (MEPPI).

Recognized by his Mentor, Brandon Grau was instrumental in keeping everyone safe on the job

ARM Group Enterprises (ARME) is proud to announce that Brandon Grau has been recognized by his mentor Chris Finton for identifying a significant potential safety hazard (overpressured compressor/hydraulic lines) while overseeing the drilling and construction of monitoring wells at a recent job site. Brandon discussed the potential hazard during a morning tailgate safety discussion and asked that all personnel stay away from the side of the drilling rig that contained the compressor. A hydraulic line later overpressured and blew, emitting hydraulic oil that combusted (likely from the heat of the compressor) and formed a fireball. The drilling contractor acted quickly to shut down the rig and suppress the fire on the rig and surrounding site. Brandon's foresight, observations, and safety focus may very well have saved a life or prevented significant injury and burns. “I want to thank him for focusing on his safety as well as the safety of those around him”, says Chris.

Tania was an integral part of putting together the permit application in the face of several challenges. She exhibited a commitment to meeting client deadlines, exhibited patience in working with the team through more rounds of CAD edits than would be typical as a result of several compounding factors, and kept a close eye on the quality of the final deliverable. Mechanical Engineer Richard Penatzer Joins AETA's Johnstown Office

Please help us welcome Richard who will be working as a Mechanical Engineer at our Johnstown, PA location. Richard holds an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Penn State University. Most recently, he has been working as a Draftsman where he created 3D models of parts and assemblies using Solidworks for government and Defense projects. He also detailed parts and assemblies for fabrication drawings, completed engineer changes and created production quality parts using 3D printers, laser and vinyl machines. Prior to that, Richard worked as a Mechanical Designer/Assembler where he created 3D models of parts in Solidworks, detailed parts and assemblies for fabrication and created B.O.M for ease of installation. He also revised designs to reduce production lead times, and worked cross functionally with customers, salespersons, and parts distributers to obtain competitive quotes and order materials.

Panel Technician Christian Jirau Joins AETA's Mechanicsburg Office

Welcome Cristian! Cristian will be working as a Panel Shop Technician at our Mechanicsburg, PA location. Cristian has been working with us on a temporary basis and will be transitioning to a full-time position. Prior to joining our team, he worked as a Controls Panel Builder and Quality Control Technician at RS Automation, Inc. where he assembled electronic components error free and according to quality standards, wiring electrical and mechanical parts to build complete control panels according to design. Prior to this, he worked at IJ Tech as a Control System Technician troubleshooting HVAC Automation systems, performing maintenance and repairs on the units, and re-wiring controls as needed. He holds an OSHA Certification for Construction Safety and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Concentration in Aeronautics, Technology and Aerospace.

When Christian has some free time, he likes to read or listen to books, study & create music using software and instruments, spend quality time with the family, go sightseeing from time to time, and find new places to eat.

Please welcome Charity! She will be working as a Panel Shop Technician at our Johnstown, PA location. Charity has been working with us part-time and will be transitioning to a full-time role Charity is a graduate from Richland High School and is obtaining an NCCER Certification from Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center (focusing on Electrical safety, Basic Electronics, Electrical Circuits, Electrical Math, etc.) and holds the OSHA 10 and NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Certificates. She has experience in the customer service and construction industries and is a team-player, with strong time management and organization skills.
